With very few viable streamers yesterday, I re-evaluated the best teams to attack with opposing pitchers in fantasy baseball based on both recent and season-long performances. You’d be able to guess most of the teams that stood out (the Marlins, Pirates, etc.); it’s still nice to have some statistical reasoning behind targeting those squads, though.

With only six games on the schedule today, there is a dearth of streaming options for fantasy owners. There isn’t much to talk about, so it seemed like a good time to re-evaluate the teams to target with opposing fantasy pitchers.

The 2024 NFL schedule was released on Wednesday. It’s made into an event, but really, we know most of the schedule once the previous season ends, just not which games will fall on which days. No matter what its merit, the schedule release acts as another impactful day on the NFL calendar.

After a great day for streamers yesterday, today offers a few high-level options but more guys in the middle of the pack. That’s what makes baseball both great and frustrating: the starting pitchers make every day different, which could mean a sharp increase or decrease in the odds of your favorite team (or fantasy team) winning.

Sometimes, the streaming gods smile upon fantasy owners. Today’s group features no less than three pitchers who would top the streamer list many days. From weak opponents to high strikeout rates, there are plenty of options to fill your roster.

We’re almost halfway through May; remember when it was just the beginning of the month? Time moves fast, despite what the MLB season sometimes feels like, and player/team performances can change even quicker. That’s why we at FantasySP are here every day to help you keep up with current trends and players to know.

Important dates on the NFL calendar tell us things about teams’ plans for the current season. The big moves on the first day of free agency by the Las Vegas Raiders proved they are going for the playoffs, not rebuilding in any way.

It’s a big day in starting pitching because Pirates’ prospect Paul Skenes, the first pick in last year’s draft, is making his big-league debut. Skenes isn’t a streamer both because he’s owned in too many leagues and because his opponent, the Cubs, have a good lineup.

It’s getting to be the time that most people are spending their weekends outside rather than watching baseball religiously. There are die-hards, sure, but it’s only going to get harder to follow the daily happenings of Major League Baseball.

Yesterday, I went through each AFC team and identified one hole they still need to fill. Some of those holes could be filled by a single player, but other teams need more of a concept of adding talent rather than targeting one guy.
